I love to use the "My Fitness Pal" app. It has a huge database of foods that you can add to your nutrition log which is very helpful.

    We all need help with fitting exercise time into our busy schedules. Sometimes, you have to get it in on the go. Here is a tip for staying fit whether at home, at the office, waiting for the kids to get out of school, etc. Stretch! Stretching is so easy to do and can be done anywhere! Stretching decreases your risk for common injuries, it increases your force output (you can produce more strength), it relaxes the body and mind, it increases blood flow thereby increasing nutrient and oxygen transfer throughout the body, etc. There are so many benefits to stretching and it can often feel like a workout in itself. Wherever you are, just take 5 minutes and focus on three or four muscles to stretch and hold each stretch for 30 seconds. You would be surprised at how much better you will feel throughout your week!
