Stretch! Stretching is so easy to do and can be done anywhere! Stretching decreases your risk for common injuries, it increases your force output (you can produce more strength), it relaxes the body and mind, it increases blood flow thereby increasing nutrient and oxygen transfer throughout the body, etc. There are so many benefits to stretching and it can often feel like a workout in itself. Wherever you are, just take 5 minutes and focus on three or four muscles to stretch and hold each stretch for 30 seconds. You would be surprised at how much better you will feel throughout your week!
